Clean and comfortable. GIANT pool that is VERY nice. No free breakfast. Rooms are fine. Bed was comfortable. Had to walk 2 blocks for coffee as the urns in lobby were empty. Interesting things to see and do in area. Walkable to restaurants.
I stayed here for a weekend event and it was pretty solid, with a few quirks. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was better than I expected, and the shower had good water pressure, which I really appreciated. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful even when things were busy, and it felt like they genuinely cared. Some parts of the hotel look a bit worn and the elevators can be slow when there's a crowd, plus there's no free breakfast and the lobby coffee wasn't always available, which was kind of annoying. The pool is large but towels weren't always stocked, and parking can be a bit awkward at certain times, though I did manage to find a spot each night.
Great location downtown. There is a little Asian market nearby. It is only a couple blocks from modern woodman. This hotel is in a safe location in rock island. It is close to the historic district. Also within walking distance is the rock island ale house, formerly Bennigans. They have a great lunch menu!
Rooms were clean and decent, service/staff was great, location was industrial with very little around but just a hop skip and a jump to more.
I stayed here for a convention. I had a good time at this hotel. The bed was quite comfortable. The shower had good water pressure and enough hot water. The AC was pretty cold. The front desk guy was quite nice (shoutout to Matt) My only complaint was that the WIFI was spotty. I couldn't do a video meeting because my laptop couldn't stay connected to it.
Today I witnessed an act of compassion by Mason at the front desk. Yes, this is the hospitality industry and it could be argued he “did his job”, but too many don’t anymore, and his spirit is exceptional. Thank you Holiday Inn, you’ve got a great representative in Mason. Bravo Zulu.
Great place to stay. I stayed a total of 6 nights. Clean rooms and comfortable bed. Excellent staff! Everyone was awesome. Im a truck driver and my truck was in the shop at Kenworth. The shuttle was nice enough to come get me and take me back. Shuttle driver was really nice also. Plenty of places to eat around the area. Highly recommend this place.
Staff was friendly. Rooms were very clean. Location is great for events in downtown Rock Island. This was the second year that the local Anime convention was held at this Holiday Inn, and we all were treated with kindness. I would recommend this Holiday Inn to anyone staying in the Quad Cities for business or vacation.
